Privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
This policy explains how Pehnawa uses information on this website. The website demonstration is not confirmation of a production kiosk operating in a store. Your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules apply.
1. Enquiries for your store
The form asks for your name and phone number. You can choose to add optional details such as your store name, city and a private message. Do not include shopper photos, bank details or sensitive information in that message.
Sending the form gives us consent to reply to your enquiry and contact you about demo availability. The message is sent to our team by email. This website currently has no separate enquiry database or appointment booking system. A successful submission means the email service accepted the request; it does not confirm a call or appointment.
Messages may remain with our email provider and in the team’s mailbox. Access should be limited to people who need to reply. To request access, correction or deletion, or to withdraw consent for further contact, write to baibhavjaingaya@gmail.com. Provider backups and provider records may remain under their policies; this website cannot guarantee automatic deletion of every copy.
2. Language and website use
On a first visit to a link without a language, the hosting service’s country and region metadata can select an initial Hindi or English version. Our app does not store a raw IP address for this purpose. English is used when location is unavailable. An explicit language link and your manual preference override that initial default.
Changing language saves your preference in a pehnawa-locale cookie for six months. You can delete it in your browser. The tab’s session storage remembers whether the opening film has played. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand visits and performance. Hosting and these services handle technical and usage information under their own policies.
3. Optional conversational voice demonstration
The conversation button identifies the configured provider: Google Gemini or OpenAI. The microphone starts only after you start the conversation and grant browser permission. Once connected, audio goes directly from your browser to that provider. Conversation transcripts, the sample catalogue and selected-fabric context are also sent to generate responses and actions. Replies can play through your speakers. Avoid sharing bystanders’ voices or personal information. Ending the conversation stops the microphone; fabric buttons also let you use the demonstration.
This app does not save voice recordings or conversation transcripts in its own database. This does not promise zero retention by the provider. Its security records, retention and processing are governed by the applicable Google Gemini API terms or OpenAI API data policies.
To limit abuse of the voice service, the server may temporarily hold a protected, salted hash of an IP address in memory. This is separate from storing a raw IP to choose a language and does not create a durable customer record.
The barcode camera opens only when you choose it and grant permission. In a supported browser, BarcodeDetector reads frames on your device; only the decoded code is sent to the same sample catalogue for lookup. Camera frames are not uploaded. Stopping the scan or leaving the demonstration stops the camera. You can also type a code.
Fabrics, barcodes and prepared visuals in this small demonstration may be samples, not verified stock in a store. Looking up a sample barcode does not make a purchase, reserve an item or prove that a new photo was generated. This website demonstration does not take a shopper photo and generate a new outfit on that shopper.
4. Shopper photos in a store
Website enquiries and this voice demonstration are separate from handling shopper photos in a future kiosk. Before a real pilot, photo consent, use, service providers, retention and deletion must be explained and tested separately. This page does not guarantee that those production processes are operating or verified.
5. Providers, security and your rights
Service providers can process data for hosting, email, measurement and optional AI conversation. They may process data in other countries. We do not run this form to sell personal information. Information may need to be disclosed when required by law. HTTPS and limited team access are useful safeguards, but no online service is entirely risk free.
To exercise applicable rights concerning access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, nomination or grievances, contact baibhavjaingaya@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not change processing that already happened. We will respond within the applicable legal time limit. Please raise a grievance at that address first; use the applicable legal complaint process where needed.
6. Changes
We will update this policy and its date when our practices change.
